​The Galo Series (Série Galo), by artist Horten Werneck, is available to be integrated into itinerant cultural exhibition programming across various Brazilian cities.

This is an expressive art show composed of forty-one original paintings, produced between 2014 and 2016. The work revolves around the central and symbolic figure of the rooster, exploring an intense aesthetic variation that evolves from figurative to abstract. The series marks a turning point in the artist's trajectory, representing a profound self-analysis of the creative process.

Educational and Documentary Value

Werneck’s book, "Processo Criativo" (Creative Process), a 186-page compendium that unveils the methodology and genesis of the series, making it an ideal resource for critical and educational reflection.
